We love having children of all ages as part of our church family, and God wants to speak to them too. Part way through the Sunday morning meeting, while the adults remain in the main hall to hear God speak through Bible teaching, the children go to Children’s Church, where they also hear God speak through the Bible.
Each week, the children experience a session of ‘The Gospel Project for Kids’, which includes a Bible story video, a focus on the ‘big idea’ of that story, a giant timeline that helps put it into the bigger picture of the Bible, review questions and fun activity sheets. Every leader brings their own creativity and uniqueness to the sessions, e.g. games and crafts, making every session special and exciting.
Children’s Church wants to partner with parents in teaching their children about God. Therefore, we use a ‘Home Pack’ which the children take home each week, helping parents to understand what has been taught, and giving optional resources to use at home.
Children’s Church is for children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (5-11 years old).
