Our Vision

Together we want to know God and make Him known.

Our Vision

We want to be loving, prayerful and effective witnesses, in word and deed, to the people we meet.

We want to give everyone in Bradley Stoke the opportunity to hear and believe the Gospel.

Our Priorities

LOVE God & our neighbour

The greatest commandment is to love God and we can only do this if we know him. So we are gathered together by God Sunday by Sunday to hear his Word, responding to him with corporate prayer and praise, and go to live our lives to glorify him in all we do. We are also called to love our neighbour, and that means all the people around us. As individuals and as a church we seek to love those around us. We recognise love is a defining mark of God’s people & this should be evident.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” “Love your neighbour as yourself.”

GROW in likeness to Christ

Together we are called to GROW in likeness to Christ. We do this as we know more of God & his word and apply that to our lives. We also recognise that we need the help of others to accomplish this. That is why we believe that each Christian needs to meet in smaller more regular discipleship groups. We meet in small groups at least 3 times a month for bible study, prayer and fellowship and once a month all together.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

SERVE in Christ’s church

The mature Christian is one who uses their time, energy and gifts to SERVE Christ’s church and does the same in his world. We are deliberate about helping everyone find a place to use their gifts within the church.

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

GO and make disciples

Mature disciples are those who GO to make disciples of all nations. We seek to equip every member to share Jesus in a relevant way with those about them and run excellent central events to which all are welcome.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’
